Beating Augsburg would propel them into the semifinals for the second time in three years. It’s a straightforward task on paper, considering they’re on a three-match winning H2H streak. Furthermore, they’ve emerged victorious from seven of their last nine H2Hs on this ground (D1, L1), including the most recent five in a row via an aggregate score of 11-4.

On the other hand, Augsburg will be out to reverse history and reach the DFB-Pokal semi-finals for the first time since 2009/10.
